It certainly wasn’t too late to see the cushion plants flowering at Newdegate Pass. The weather was ideal with clear skies and not too warm for comfort. It is a more tiring walk than it once was, but most satisfying to be there and see this lovely area.
It took a total of 7:40 for the 12ks with an actual walking time of 6 hours
