The weather was ideal, calm, sunny and pleasant temperature. We had a sheltered sunny clearing in which to have lunch in comfortable warmth.
On several spots on the walk in there was colourful scoparia of varying shades and at our destination the bushes were often large with plentiful prominent flower spikes.
It took 1:15 for the 2k walk in and about 1:00 back on a slightly easier route. The elapsed time for the walk was 3:30.
