Retreat and Kara

Retreat

The walk took the Lenah Valley Track starting from the Springs which is about equidistant from the option coming from the Lenah Valley end. On the rather steep ascent from the track, we took the branch leading direct to the Retreat hut and from there on to Kara, but I wandered off route making it a more convoluted approach.

The climb from Kara to the road was a great deal steeper than remembered and from there to the Organ Pipes Track again steep, but shorter.
