This walk was better than I expected with a good and well maintained track. It is well signed with interpretive panels along the way, winding up to escarpment cliffs and a sub-alpine heathland plateau with good views. The track continues to the summit.

At Placenames Tasmania the record for the mountain which I have abbreviated is that Ronald Cross was suggested as the name and at the time there were numerous "Mt. Miserys" (was six at the time ) with which Tasmania has been inflicted. But the feature did not come up to the required standard, as the view of it was limited.
