Platypus Tarn Circuit
Thursday 6 February 2025
It was nice walking to Platypus Tarn as it winds round the shore of Lake Dobson then passes through a Pencil Pine forest before the descent to the tarn, which looked good in the calm sunny conditions. We walked on a pad around the northern side and stopped for lunch in the welcome shade of large King Billy pines near the shore. From there it was a much less distinct pad then non existent to reach the track and walked on to Lake Seal before returning to Lake Dobson.
