Mount Field East
Thursday 10 March 2022 The day started with perfect weather and remained fine all day, but the clear sky succumbed to cloudy patches by the time Lake Nicholls was reached and gradually it became predominantly cloudy. Some climbed Mount Field East and others continued on to the carpark at Lake Fenton, where we had left two cars to save walking back to the lake Nicholls carpark. A side item with this walk was to check the track counters as it was close to 12 months since the last reading. The numbers of walkers on the tracks for the 12 months was 1311 with a daily average of 3.7. There is a table here.
