Seeing the scoparia on Kangaroo Moor encouraged me to check it at what I call Monash Valley The route to this valley followed one I have done may times and avoids the thicker scrub and rock on other approaches, although it still has a short boulder section.
The scoparia on the far side of the valley can be spectacular, but although there were numerous bushes flowering it was not nearly as good as some years. Boronia was in flower, but Epacris had finished.
